Vassilis Triantafyllidis was born in Athens, grew up in Lemnos Island and his observation skills were strengthened during the Sunday adventures with his uncle in the farm and the surreal image journeys on the sea.
He has received specific education as a software engineer on interractive multimedia communications, film-making / direction and after his University graduation from the British Fine Art photography dept. of SAD, he works as a photojournalist.
In the last years he self-publishes calendars and other supreme quality printed editions of his images, in order to be assisted financially as the survival conditions of photojournalism in Greece are adverse.
